Executive Committee

1.     The Executive Council is made of of a  Principal Representative from each participating entity.  The  Principal Representative will be responsible for attending the monthly steering meetings or for designating an Alternate from their organization to attend / participate in each meeting on behalf of that organization or professional arena. 
2.     In the spirit of One Health, every attempt is made to have each area of the One Health triumvirate, humans, animals, environment, represented on the Executive Council.  
3.     Each organization / profession will have someone at the table at every NC OHC steering meeting.

Scientific Advisory Board

 Scientific Advisory and Alternates Council Description
1.     Individuals with an interest in One Health who have expressed and demonstrated an interest in helping the NC OHC fulfill its mission. The NC OHC takes an ‘all welcome’ approach. 
  • Welcome (but not required) at any / all monthly steering meetings 
  • Invited to volunteer on subcommittees / working groups
  • Full Advisory Council to meet with full Steering Committee twice a year
  • Will receive minutes of monthly Steering Meetings and be included in pertinent email discussions to remain informed of NC OHC business
  • Invited to provide suggestions/input at any time
  • Those Advisors who agree to be Alternate Reps may be asked to attend occasional Steering Meetings when their primary representative cannot so each entity is represented at every steering meeting. 
2.   Allows and encourages a larger number of individuals to participate / engage with the NC OHC
